Lakeside State Park Playground

Designed to reflect the park’s unique character as both a lakeside destination and campground, this vibrant space features custom structures, including a Winnebago-inspired play element and a one-of-a-kind ship design, which ties the entire experience beautifully to its setting.

This playground was built with inclusion at its core, offering opportunities for children of all abilities to engage, explore, and connect. Key features include a Cozy Dome® for quiet, sensory-friendly play, a Friendship® Swing for cooperative fun, two Chill® Spinners, an OmniSpin® Spinner, a TopsyTurny® Spinner, and a Sway Fun® Glider—each carefully chosen to promote motion, interaction, and accessibility.

As one of the inclusive playgrounds in New York State, this project offers more than just play—it creates a welcoming environment where families can come together, enjoy the lakeside atmosphere, and make memories in a space built for everyone.
