Cornwall on Hudson Elementary

The Cornwall on Hudson Elementary school has some unique topography – the building is at the top of a long, steep hill, at the base of which lies the playground. When redesigning this playground, Parkitects added a custom hill slide that allows students to take a much more direct route to the play area!

The playground is complete with several play structures, a variety of slides and climbers, a swing set, and a wheelchair accessible glider. Spinners, seesaws, climbing nets, and even a zipline provide still more options for play. Children also have the opportunity to experiment and express themselves using a trio of high quality outdoor musical instruments, contributing to a well rounded and exciting play experience.
