Lynn Mason has been with Parkitects for over 11 years. She is the Landscape Architect, RLA, ASLA, and CPSI. She has her dual Master’s Degree in architecture and landscape architecture.
Lynn got her start working for a small Landscape Architecture firm in North Tonawanda as the main designer for school projects. She was instrumental in convincing the Buffalo Public School district that every elementary school deserved a playground and space for kids to play.
She spent her six years there working with Parkitects and Ben Frasier on each of those school and playground projects. When the design work for schools started to end at the firm she was at, Lynn joined Parkitects so that she could continue designing playgrounds and play environments for schools and communities.
Lynn enjoys working directly with a community or school in creating their dream playground. She appreciates the lasting impact play spaces have on children and the community.
Lynn is actively involved in her community and is a member of the Village of Hamburg Community Foundation – a non-profit that works on park and village projects to improve the quality of life and amenities the village has to offer. She is also a Girl Scout troop leader for both her daughters and works to instill in them a passion for the outdoors and improving the quality of life through service and leadership.
Her family of five are camping enthusiasts who camp several times a year at various state parks where her kids get to play on Parkitects designed playgrounds, hike, and fish.
